So many pros and cons with that one. I think I could just about live with that ensuite as at least the toilet is tucked away out of sight from the person left in bed and there is a door albeit a glass one.user1977 said:
In the style of the estate agents, it will certainly IMMERSE your VISITORS in the VIEWS if they happen to wander up your stairs while you're on the throne.Kyrae said:
Beautiful views of the river of course but the Environment Agency Flood Map suggests it could be more than the views that might immerse you. Also, the video demonstrates well the views your will enjoy of the busy road in the other direction.
I think that it's lovely, the shower seems to be in the top floor so no visitors would be in view, hopefully. I do wish that EAs would label all those photographs so more sense could be made of them.

I think flooding is unlikely as I'm sure those houses are on a hill quite a way above the river.Gers said:Dandie89 said:

I think If prefer a solid wall between the shower and the stairs - and I'm not a fan of stairs in bedrooms at the best of times but I guess you could fairly easily fir opaque film if you wanted a bit more privacy, and the views do look nice. I quite like the rest of the interior.Gers said:Dandie89 said:

Inverie is only reachable by a 17-mile (27-kilometre) hike over mountainous terrain or by a regular 7 mi (11 km) ferry from Malliag. This fact gives the village a Guinness National Record for remoteness within the United Kingdom

In the 1970s I went on a trip round Loch Nevis on the boat whose primary purpose was to deliver the mail. the waterborne equivalent of the postbus. One of its stops was this inn, and there were other stops around the loch which had no road access. It made me realise that sometimes you get quite a bit of value for the price of a stamp!Gers said:Inverie is only reachable by a 17-mile (27-kilometre) hike over mountainous terrain or by a regular 7 mi (11 km) ferry from Malliag. What looks like considerable expenditure to turn a garage into a mahoosive utility room. Does that actually make any sense as plenty of room at the narrow bit at the back for utilities?

I wonder what has gone wrong with that for it to be back on the open market.Yes while it is on the UK mainland, it is to all practical purposes like living on a small island.

I had a similar layout house once, and was going to turn that wedge into a flat/studio. There are lots of regulations now about space in dwellings but that unit has its own entrance and possibly a private section of garden - I wonder if they're using it as a studio apartment for rental but just not declaring it.Dandie89 said:What looks like considerable expenditure to turn a garage into a mahoosive utility room.
