In Gimingham - but post town is Norwich. Perhaps the EA in Watford thought that was close enough.Slithery said:
No idea why they've said it's in Norwich when it's clearly 20 miles away in Mundesley...Spreadsheetman said:Not a very successful loft conversion aka the least "chalet bungalow" ever:1 -
I would have said Gingingham in my post but assumed that no one would no where that was so opted for Mundesley instead.General_Grant said:

The field is probably closer to Parkay than parquet. I wonder if they could tell the difference?BikingBud said:What I do not give, you must never take by force.

The flue in the pictures doesn't look like it's insulated. Or, more accurately, the insulated ones I have seen are much bigger.FreeBear said:GDB2222 said:
Do steel flues need insulation, so they draw well?FreeBear said:
And why have a steel flue going out the back of the fireplace when there is a perfectly serviceable chimney stack above the stove...Spreadsheetman said:Not a very successful loft conversion aka the least "chalet bungalow" ever:
Yes. Conventional design is a twin wall flue system with integral insulation. With a regular brick chimney, a steel liner is normally used. Sometimes with a loose fill insulation such as vermiculite or a mineral wool blanket wrapped around the liner. Often though, the brick provides sufficient insulation to get a decent draw.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
