  • I guessed as much, that’s why I don’t like it!
I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.

Bizarre listing!  The house has an absolutely glorious outlook, which must be one of its best features, but not a sniff of it in the advert.  It's also got a garage, but is listed as having on road parking only.
Not sure I'd describe a railway, busy road and industrial docks area as a "glorious outlook".
Can't see any evidence it has a garage either.
It's a damn sight better than most people have got, industrial land has a rugged beauty to it and the dock basin is lovely to look at.  The garage is at the back and is accessed via a service road.
That isn't a garage. It is a brick built outbuilding.
It is less than 10 foot in length so couldn't fit anything bigger than a Smart car if it was a garage.
Although the agent describes it as a "brick outbuilding" it looks more like pre-cast concrete panel construction

If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

Very odd layout. Looks like an ex council house from the front. Surprised the planners approved those extensions!

I also can't see that the dimensions are given anywhere in the advert.

Google Earth has a measuring function. Very handy when house-hunting for checking sizes of driveways and gardens.

It's OK for a rough estimate, but due to the way the map is constructed from various photos it can be massively incorrect, especially over short distances.
