People often say that new build garages are small yet ours built in 2019 has room for a car, which you can open the door and get out of, a work bench and tool storage along the back wall and a large freezer. At the minute there are also load of crates of beer left over from Christmas.[Deleted User] said:
That's true, at least people can use them unlike the typical new build garage.paulj2021 said:
At least the parking spaces are quite generously sized, which will be good when electric points are installed, as from what I’ve seen electric chargers need a lot more space round the car[Deleted User] said:
Who doesn't want a carpark in the middle of their estate? Only 8 years to go until the end of petrol car sales too, and all these spaces are going to need chargers...
Would have been much cheaper to install chargers before the tarmac though. They need to be wired into each home's supply for billing.
I certainly wouldn't call it small and this was built by David Wilson Homes so is not a one off or expensive build.1 -
If this wasn't for sale through modern auction we would be very tempted to make the finances work and put an offer in.

That's lovely. Looks like it's been refurbished very recently - what an odd decision to go down the modern auction route.RelievedSheff said:If this wasn't for sale through modern auction we would be very tempted to make the finances work and put an offer in.

I like that one. I saw a Grade II listed house advertised relatively locally,if it hadn't been SSTC we would have been temptedRelievedSheff said:If this wasn't for sale through modern auction we would be very tempted to make the finances work and put an offer in.

We are going to keep an eye on it and hope they decide to go down the traditional sale route and drop the price just a little. We are so painfully close to being able to buy this one by traditional methods

I wouldn't be able to buy that. So much work has gone into the interior that I wouldn't be able to bring myself to take a crowbar to it, but then it's utterly dreadful, so it would have to be done. A bind. I also don't have three and a half million pounds.FreeBear said:anotheruser said: Can we please get back to posting unusual / amazing / weird houses.

Each to their own. I absolutely love the interior. It would be boring if we were all the same though! I, also, don't have £3.5m lying around either!Ditzy_Mitzy said:
