    Neither had the planners, apparently:

"The proposed development of the new fence, fence line and the large hard standing driveway/frontage would result in an incongruous and discordant form of development. The fence and hardstanding is considered to be out of keeping with the character of the area, the landscape context and the host dwelling."

So a special opportunity to undo the hardstanding and fence...
This is special. The property is wrapped in garden areas and is set to tarmac in the main providing an incredible amount of off road parking to the front and both sides (one side running through to the garage). There is potential here for parking for a motorhome/caravan plus family cars or commercial vehicles plus family cars (subject to observing any restrictive covenants if applicable) The rear garden is also tarmac in the main providing low maintenance living. In it's class i do not believe there is a home offering this amount of hard-standing.
    Agents Note
The current owner is just waiting to hear on whether a fence may need to replaced to a lower level. The vendor has confirmed this will be done if required.

You could probably sell some of those curtains in a vintage shop and make a killing!
That's not the sort of house where I'd bandy words like "killing" about lightly.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

A most odd set of photos - someone with a handle fetish?

I hate these listings with lots of useless artsy photographs, usually of stuff you won't even be buying!
