I would have said it was a pretty standard size for a double bedroom anywhere, not really notable.Patr100 said:
I'm not thinking about new build. Even most Victorian housing stock of which there is the majority in London, the main bedroom excluding a bay window is rarely more than about 12 foot or so at the widest point.[Deleted User] said:
Indeed I do not. Anyway, most of these new builds are only sized for a double bed and even then with only a small gap to walk around it.Patr100 said:
Then you probably dont live in London.[Deleted User] said:

12' 7" x 10' 4" too small for a bed ? I don't think so .[Deleted User] said:RichardD1970 said:What's an "Ex new build"? Surely that applies to every house ever built?
I guess they mean it's a micro house. 2 bedrooms and a walk in cupboard. "Master" bedroom is barely big enough for a bed.
How big is your bedroom then?
You may find more bedrooms if you can afford it , rarely bigger bedrooms.0 -

It's definitely extra small. Most new builds are like that, the show home has an extra short bed that my feet will overhang and barely any room to walk around it.0 -

No, Looks like bindweed that's clearly out of control. The white flowers you can see are different from knotweed which has smaller more delicate looking multiple clusters of white flowers.aoleks said:SallyDucati said:Spotted this through another tread.

'Get your creative juices flowing'. I'd more worried about what I can imagine hiding under the greenery in the garden that is trying to make it's way into the house!
If I'm not mistaken, that's japanese knotweed. That house is probably worth about £100k or whatever the land might be worth under these circumstances.
Yep- deffo bindweed. As you say, an absolute sod to get rid of. Took me years in our old garden to dig it out for good and that was a relatively small patch. Very pretty when in flower however.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen photos that make a house with somewhat reasonable dimensions look so cramped…

I always find it strange that some EAs charge extra for photos and don't include them as standard. I know it's part of a strategic pricing structure but you risk getting shoddy photos like that and would put off a lot of viewers.AFF8879 said:I don’t think I’ve ever seen photos that make a house with somewhat reasonable dimensions look so cramped…1 -
They just scream "photos taken by landlord, who was allowed 10 seconds by the tenant to run around snapping what they could".MaryNB said:

Is it the EA's thumb? Or some sort of badly set up backlighting arrangement?

Where is picture 2? Why is Bedroom 3 where the lounge should be and has the only access to the back? Oh yes, HMO?BikingBud said:
