At least some of the rooms appear to be a decent size. Also plenty of green space nearby and you're no too far from the Peak District. But as you say, views from the windows, meh.snowdrop99 said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/112253243#/?channel=RES_BUY Detached - just! View from windows must be uninspiring to say the least. And as for taking your life into your hands as you exit the back door, to get run over by next door's car! Leasehold too, cannot see buyers queuing up for this one.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I don't think I'd mind the appearance too much if a city property suited. Simply and modern. You would probably call it a mews house I suppose and the living is all behind the facade.MaryNB said:Apologies if this has been posted before, it's been listed for a while but I haven't spotted it on this thread.

I can't see it on Street View (probably too new) but Back Road is a road full of just garages so not exactly the nicest road to live on.
ETA: Found the planning application. It's replacing the grey building on the left.

Is it just me or does the Streetview of the property https://www.google.com/maps/@53.4422787,-2.0691715,3a,29.3y,323.79h,90.93t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1ska_KbmhTGJuNjfnr2UdeGQ!2e0!7 looks like the open window on the right is touching the neighbouring property?FreeBear said:

Carefully 😁 You’d have to make sure you grabbed the toilet roll instead of the corner of the duvet!James-may said:

Lordy- the combo of the stair runner and the wallpaper is startling to say the least! Mind you, it's refreshing to see a house that isn't a uniform shade of grey.

Not only an avocado bath, but an avocado bath shelf. There was a time when I thought those shelves were the last word in, well, something. Probably fortunately, I couldn't afford one.5
