Not only an avocado bath, but an avocado bath shelf. There was a time when I thought those shelves were the last word in, well, something. Probably fortunately, I couldn't afford one. 

Very practical.  Nice houses.  Had a lovely stay at no. 20 a couple of years ago

As there are no measurements, it is hard to tell whether this is just a poorly photographed space.  The interior picture has the up-and-over door almost square (if anything taller than wide) whereas the photo of the front of the house has the door a little wider than high.  (Or is it just my odd eyesight?)

Garage - 17ft x 6ft 5ins. 

The dining-room sounds "interesting". 9ft x 6ft, with 4 doors in it, to conservatory, loo, garage and presumably one to a hallway or other room. 

The whole house looks and sounds as if there are too many rooms crammed into a space not big enough for them. 

Quite.  Some may boast of putting a quart in a pint pot, but fitting an executive in a two up two down is more difficult.  Saddling a 10'x10' bedroom with an en-suite is ludicrous.  One may gain bragging rights, but those matter not a jot if you can't fit a bed and wardrobe in the master bedroom.

At the risk (OK, certainty) of being pedantic, it's not 'en suite' at all, it's 'en chambre' 

It would be dodgy enough if it was a random loo in the bedroom but combined with the open staircase... That's a world of Nope.
