I love seeing these old / untouched properties. Although I have to admit, I always feel a little sad looking at the pictures. I can imagine someone living in the property for many, many years and all the happy and sad times they've experienced whilst living in the property. I wonder what has become of them. Looks not touched in 60 years! Love the fireplaces in pics 5 and 7 with mirror above. Hope the new owner keeps them.
I too always hope that the new owners will keep most of the historical features and restore them sympathetically as they are part of the property's history.3 -

We viewed a house with similar decor a few years back. We still refer to it as the S&M House.
