Wow that floor in the hall is lovely. I bet there are equally fantastic floors under the carpets as well. Love some of the furniture, thbe cabinet in the lounge and the drawers in tbe bedroom. Great location too.Caraway90 said:Another time warp property in the same village as my last post. This is what happens when you use a cheap online agent. Might as well not have bothered with those photoshedgewitchery said:The mysterious radiation in the bathroom seems to have affected the picture quality...

As ith time warp properties.- sometimes, the previous owners have the money to spend on new furniture, wallpaper etc. They say they don't the fuss about changing things. Though my grandmother, 93 lives in warden controlled housing run by a housing association, she will not budge when it comes to replacing her sofa and armchair. They must be 30 plus years old and extremely uncomfortable. They were fine first 10-15 years, but got uncomfortable. She is housebound so only trips out are for medical. If she replaced them with either brand new ones or in a charity shop (which are a few years old), she would feel more comfortable. My grandmother has severe arthritis and these rubbish sofa and armchair aren't doing much favours with this.0 -

After looking at that depressing home, I just want to attack the colourful drinks selection in the kitchenjennyred said:I thought I was viewing this in black and white! NO colour at all!1 -
Why do people do that?jennyred said:I thought I was viewing this in black and white! NO colour at all!
Ok a bit of grey/black maybe but not everything in every room!0 -
I like it! Nothing I hate more than a feature wall with garish wallpaper Plus once the furnishings are removed it will be fairly neutral the walls are all a neutral colour. Easier to add colour than remove it.RelievedSheff said:

My parents' current home when they moved in, some of the rooms had either dreadful wallpaper or horrible colour schemes - bright red and bright green in the boy's room and headache inducing wallpaper in the master bedroom. These were the first rooms to be tackled. My parents have kept the feature wallpaper in the lounge. It doesn't look as bad now since the wall next to it is a neutral colour, rather than the sexy pink (similar colour to the post comment box)Scotbot said:

Not so keen on a purely monochrome theme but white & grey with the addition of a reasonable (but not excessive) splash of colour does work well IMO.
The main thing I don't like is the garden, although that's more due to the fact it's predominantly decking with the only greenery being fake grass. It would look marginally better with natural wood colours but I still wouldn't like it.1
