Unfortunately so many of the houses like this in the area don't allow for the easy installation of an upstairs bathroom and I really don't think this was a solution...

On the topic of delusional sellers in Bristol, this lot thought they could add a few £100k to the value by removing an internal wall, redoing the kitchen and doing a bit of decorating. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/56086065#/

I've a horrible feeling that the historians of the future will look back upon the now present and conclude that, for a few years between 2018 and 2023, man lost the ability to take colour photographs.
I so agree! It's getting to the point where I have an almost overwhelming desire to paint everything in day-glo orange and/or invest in many rolls of flower-power wallpaper.

We've just moved and they've done all the woodwork in grey (as well as the flooring, and the walls are light grey with accent darker grey). I don't hate it, and it least the gloss won't go yellow...

It's live-with-able. We'll paint over it with equally boring Jasmine White when we get round to it.

How to fit 8 bedrooms and 3 kitchens into a fairly standard house - convert the neighbouring block of garages!

    what the....
    why???

Ok, it's obvious that it was a student let, but with it not being sold as a HMO suggests that it's not legal/met standards.
They have quite literally stuck rooms into the garage.

It's way over the prices in the area.

    Wow. I haven't seen a house with a home bar for years. That's a proper Abigail's Party of a house isn't it? Fab... :)

That must be one of the worst bathroom suite colours I've seen!  Was it designed to stop any lack of cleaning or flushing showing?  Eew.

The house I moved into mid 90s had those very same kitchen cabinet doors.
The bathroom was more orangey than that shade of brown.
    Those "textured" walls though...yikes...
