That makes the planning system an !!!!!!.  It had to stay because it was listed, but is now totally out of place stuck in what should just be a green open space.  I would not want it, now would I want one of the houses stuck with that in front of them.

I've seen one or two on grand house tours.  I'm sure they have one next to the bedroom used by Madonna for Stella McCartney's wedding in Mount Stewart House, Bute so a proper starry one

Wow, that's awful. It wouldn't have been as bad if they'd built the new properties such that this one was in the middle of the row along one side of the street but who on earth would want to live a property that's the focal point for the whole street??

The 'salt and pepper pots' look like Umberto Giannini shampoo and conditioner bottles.  All that money and they still shop at Boots or similar !
