talking of new names. A development near me described the homes as ‘lateral living’ -bungalows to you and me!

Garden is idyllic in its overall design leading up to the garden studio.
As for the house itself, an unfortunate example of a letting an unsympathetic architect loose on the interior of what undoubtedly used to be one of Barnes substantial and beautiful Edwardian properties. Overall found the internal embellishments and flourishes unpleasant.
Kitchen in particular was crying out for the timeless approach favoured by DeVol kitchens, which would have honoured the property's period architecture.
Overall a property which is a triumph of an excess of money over good taste.

Well overpriced for the amount of work needed! Shame it was left to rot like that.

Next door to each other - I wonder if the subsidence is down to mining…
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
There was historically a lot of mining in the area so it could be.
A quick drive up the street on Google Maps shows evidence of movement in other buildings of that era on the street.
If anything the older properties further up the road have a lot less evidence of movement than the 1930's style properties.

Someone will buy it. That row of bungalows is very popular.
Loads of them having extensions and upgrades at the minute. This one will appeal to someone and its on a decent plot.
Wouldn't surprise me to see a small developer take it on.
