They usually open up or remove a lot of the ceilings but they look mostly intact.
Looks like some kind of fire. I looked up the address to see if there were any historical reports of fires but couldn't anything
other than in a house on the same road.

Reminds me of this one. Master bedroom off the kitchen and bathroom the other side of the house. I thought you could swap one if the sitting rooms with the master bedroom but would need quite a lot of re jigging with all the built in wardrobes. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/157569413#/?channel=RES_BUY

I forgot the shower kitchen combo in the annex was a little unusual as well.
