No need to tidy up (in particular the kitchen) for the sales pictures........

Definitely one of the most cluttered kitchens I've seen!
My friend briefly worked for an estate agent years ago. One of his jobs was to go to properties with the photographer and move the clutter out of each shot. He hated doing it, said so many vendors made absolutely no effort to clean.

In this day and age with Covid still doing the rounds I would just have refused to photograph that house. It clearly hasn't been cleaned properly, if at all.

Am I the only one that would expect that house to stink as well?

Whatever’s wrong with the house will disappear once they move out and it’s been thoroughly cleaned. Meanwhile, the clutter will put off other buyers and reduce the price. Hopefully, with any luck, it will stink, too.

Incidentally, I really love that 1970s look, and by London standards it’s fantastic value.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I'm a very risk-averse person (total worrier) and if a house is very messy on the sales photos I'd be worried about how much effort the vendor put into the upkeep. Saying that, I am also a messy person, but someone who looks after a place and would make sure the place was spotless if I was selling it.
Although at £105k that's about half the price of a 3-bed fixer-upper where I'm looking so, as you say, still great value.

Whilst it might look great value it is not a great area. Our previous house was in that area although was on an older part of the estate and was a 1930's ex local authority semi.

    I imagine it will stink.

Some of the pictures do show what appears to be damp on the walls. Whether that it lifestyle issues or a structural problem is another question.

I doubt they will get their asking price for that property. It is towards the top end of what you would expect a nicely presented and maintained house in that area to achieve. You get what you pay for and it might look great value but as I said in the previous post it is not the best area. It is far from the worst area of Sheffield though and is popular with first time buyers. Our house there sold within a few days of it going on the market, it was advertised on the Friday afternoon, had six sets of viewings over the weekend and five offers on the table come Monday morning!

If I could settle for a 1 bed I think they're quite smart looking. Not sure on practicality
