Several photos came up in the Thoughtfully Share group on Facebook. For those not on Facebook I can share some. I'll do one or two at a time so as not to be spammy and busy. If anyone wants me to stop, say so.

The mould will be from masses of condensation. Their fix would be to slap some stain block on, followed by some white emulsion. The correct fix would have been to remove the old lath & plaster, fill the void with insulation, and then add another 75-100mm of Celotex on the inside.Looks like the property was on the market back in March for £250K, and no takers. At £190K, they will only be gaining £7K over what it was bought for - A significant loss once you take in to account the tiles & tat. And it is still a horrible house in need of a lot of work.

As for the house: it's nice enough but the decoration lacks any of the personal touches that create a sense of homeliness. There's almost something institutional about it.1
