Imagine if the owner suddenly died before they got chance to tell their family that everything in the apartment is actually solid gold that they managed to sneak out of (some east European country) before they escaped to London from the (Nazis/commies/fascists/falangists/anti-armenian-ists)

The place might be worth millions but the kids think it's mum's embarrassingly blingy apartment

Am I the only person who’s not keen on marble. Blimey, that gives me a migraine 😱

I'm most definitely not keen on THAT much marble. I would really like a marble (real marble) countertop in my kitchen, however.

EDIT: I had a google of types of marble, and the following (not marble) turned up. Please don't anyone tell the property flippers about this. I'm linking to this rather than inlining a picture to allow others the choice of whether they want to see it or not.

I don't like this trend of 'renovators' making what were nice houses so extremely open plan. There's an advantage to having the kitchen in a separate room!
