I must admit that I like looking at houses worse in various ways than the one I bought. This house is in my area and just a bit cheaper than the one I bought. Hmmm.... I wonder which one I prefersilvercar said:
Stupid layout. The only bathroom is on a different floor to the bedrooms and there is no downstairs toilet. Bedroom 1 has 2 windows - would have been more sensible to make bedroom 1 smaller and take some space for a bathroom. Then have the loft room as a 3rd bedroom. Would probably add value too.RHemmings said:

While it would be a bit complicated, I think this house might work for the following scenario.in_my_wellies said:
Elderly landlords living downstairs (Mr & Mrs Roper), using the downstairs bedroom and keeping the shower room downstairs for their exclusive use. Then a number of young adult lodgers can get up to 1970s situation comedy hijinks in the upper floor.
It's not the best house for that - as mentioned the downstairs layout is odd - but it might work. In case I get similar comments as before: I personally would not have a problem walking through communal areas to get to and from the bathroom.
The sofas in the back garden ... yep wouldn't want them left out in the rain.0 -
