I think I did see the EA but couldn’t see a cat. Yes there seems to be quite a lot of junk corners in this house.

My sister once viewed a house where the couple had photos up in many rooms of them involved in 'S&M' activities.

The cottage is named after the Swahili word for 'giraffe'. There may be other connections. I tried to zoom in on the bookshelf, just in case, but I couldn't read the book titles.
