https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-90335006.htmlI suppose the falsely cleared surfaces and banishment from sight of any children's toys is all part of the aspirational element in selling. But then who actually aspires to own an ex-council house in Worksop? I'd guess it's something those who do it consider a step on a very down to earth road, like working for Tesco or kitting-out the kids in Primark. Hardly knicker twisting stuff!

Can someone explain what's going on the with wavy fire/ceiling thing please. It's like all the other bits and pieces that jump out as expressions of quirky. I don't dislike some of them and they show someone has cared enough and loved the house in their own way.Yes, the majority would probably have to go, including the wavy thing, but I'd probably keep the front door and the centurion.

In the early 1970s I remember viewing a flat (for flat share) in Harley Street where the bath itself was in the kitchen. Covered by a plank of wood to provide extra food preparation area.0 -

Awaiting permissions to modernise apparently. To be let unfurnished - but the shop underneath could help furnish it I guess (or is stocked with what was in the flat).0 -
