Landlord couldn’t afford to buy enough doors, or do up the property for that matter https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-81616315.html
I've seen people here before complaining about bathrooms being directly off the kitchen, but is that a bathroom in the kitchen (albeit separated by a shower curtain)?

In the early 1970s I remember viewing a flat (for flat share) in Harley Street where the bath itself was in the kitchen.  Covered by a plank of wood to provide extra food preparation area.
These were quite common I think. On the London council estate I grew up in 60s/early 70s we had no bathroom.  but a bath in the kitchen with a hinged platform to use as a table when the bath wasn't in use. We were moved out in 1972 , to another part of the estate so they could be modernized, to a flat on the same estate which already had a bathroom.

On HUTH earlier this year, there was a property still with this bath in kitchen. Toilet was outside next to the back door using the void from the stairs  they were in the kitchen as well. It was a 3 bed property with the smallest too small to do anything so moved the bathroom into that room.

I'm not sure if the beagle is real or stuffed.

The 1980s would like their good taste back, including the maroon velour bedside cabinets.

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-81442846.html I rather like all this, especially the kitchen.  Simple, clean spacious.  Got everything you need really.  It's clear to see from that cracking little workshop how everything has been kept in such good condition.  The estate agent clearly think people will want to just rip everything out but it would be nice if recent events had led to a more "look after" and less consumer driven attitude.

That's lovely! Looks like it's been a much loved and looked after apartment.

Awaiting permissions to modernise apparently.  To be let unfurnished - but the shop underneath could help furnish it I guess (or is stocked with what was in the flat).
That would explain why the rent is so cheap.

Carrying the coal from the under-pavement cellars up to the kitchen range is probably not that popular these days.
If I had that money though I might be very interested.

I expect they would have had people to do that sort of thing.

Enjoyed the fastest 3 course meal of my life in there. Food was good but the moment we finished the plates were cleared and the next course arrived, whilst I don't like a long wait between courses we were out of the restaurant in 30mins. Not what we expected on a summer evening -during lunch break it would have been ideal...
