I realise now I've been inside that house and played darts in the basement, before it was all opened up.anteguardian said:This is actually a decent house... quite a bit of space there 😂
i actually used to live near Aberaeron myself and it’s a beautiful place...
Personally I wouldn't choose a house with a basement quite so close to a river.
Oh wow, it’s a small world out there isn’t it!
You are quite right there though, definitely wouldn’t do that when it’s close to a river either... 😬
That’s wonderful! I hope you get as much enjoyment out of the area as I did.Splatfoot said:
We're currently selling in West Sussex to move close (ish) to Aberaeron. It is lovely.anteguardian said:Owain_Moneysaver said:

I want to move back to Wales if I’m honest - the air is so clean...
Ive got fond memories of walking around the harbour in Aberaeron with some locally made ice cream from the shop on the harbour... and there’s always Aberystwyth up the road if you need somewhere a bit bigger and busier!2 -
This is interesting... reminds me of the house that was purple everywhere inside!Patr100 said:A living room fit for a "Prince".

Check the Wickepedia page. The Crown estate sold it for £500K. That owner after evaluating it sold it a few years later for £400K. Now the current owner has evaluated it a bit more and wants £2mSplatfoot said:http://www.rightmove.co.uk/s6p/86075717

Thank goodness for planning laws. Otherwise, just like that tower, everybody would just tack a bit onto their property whenever they felt like it.ProDave said:

That has been an ongoing discussion for years on the boating forums. That houseboat and a few others have been let as cheap accommodation for at least 10 years. It seems every attempt to shut them down has failed and none of the authorities are either willing or able to move them. They have become known as the "slum boats"RelievedSheff said:

I noticed the Registration and Licence expired at the end of 2019, despite the listing saying it is current.ProDave said:That has been an ongoing discussion for years on the boating forums.
