Step inside and prepare to be amazed at the transformation. Then step outside and be prepared to come back down to earth5 -

The pictures are numbered eg. 30 of 30 is also pic 53 suggesting they took far more. Probably just hideously dated and mouldy0 -

However, I'm not sure that the asking price for that house is unrealistic. No. 510 sold for £216k in August last year. No. 510 is a bit better in terms of total space I think with more space in the roof conversion. But, No 487 is £20k cheaper. And, someone might consider the interior a plus.
On the other side of the argument, No. 378 appears to have ... a history: https://www.zoopla.co.uk/property/uprn/100010897331/
No. 270 isn't a burnt out shell, and sold for an unrepresentatively cheap price of £106k it seems. But, that was being sold by Modern Method of Auction, so that helps explain that.

Back to 487, I prefer how it looked in 2014.

It bothers me that they've installed new, beautiful, heritage features but then painted over the original timber beams with some grey gloss paint.
They've installed beautiful ceiling plaster work but looks like they've repaired the ancient stone fireplace with some polyfil rather than lime plaster that would match the stone.
I wonder what else they might have done to an old stone cottage using the wrong materials1 -
Now, this is what I call a garage. I realise there will be people on here with fancy garages which are converted stables etc., but this this the biggest garage I remember seeing around my way. I think it probably has a bigger m2 area than the entire ground floor of the house.

Somebody eagle-eyed may spot something problematic with it, but I like the loft conversion on this too. Not sure if the mystery building down the end of the garden is part of this property - it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the listing.2 -
Not the best dressed house I've seen although this is probably after a major tidy. Also that cat has very big ears. And spot the EA.
