I could be lovely.  At least the roof has been done already having looked at streetview.

Yeah, the roof on streetview is a bit of a shocker!

Sorry, this one isn't weird and there aren't animals or reflections to look out for.

But, I find this property interesting as it's a price-minimal way to get a freehold property. And, I could imagine that there are people where this would suit their lifestyle. Though, given it's just been refurbished, the listing says, I guess there's a premium in the price for that.

Given that it seems to have no outdoor space at all, it's a pity that it's far from Bede Park.

Solid brick walls, just electric heating - Not going to be cheap to heat. I wouldn't want to live there for that reason (and a few more).

Yes, the electric heating seems an unusual choice at present. Less surface area to cover if someone wanted to put underfloor heating in, however. I'd guess that the property has nowhere suitable to put a heat pump.

EDIT: I have just read that electric heating is sometimes popular with landlords. Because the installation and maintenance costs are low. And, it's the tenant that pays the more expensive costs to run. Hmmm....

Don't know why, but it looks like it could have been a shop. The front door is odd, I would have preferred they decide which road they want to face and have a square set front door. Also don't like the front door opening into the kitchen.

I am surprised that meets fire regs.  Your only exit is through a kitchen which is a prime suspect for where a fire might start, and none of the windows look to open enough to qualify as a means of escape.

Presumably someone approved it, as with the property in Brighton that used to be a workshop/printing shop.

Here's a picture of it with the door and windows open. Maybe the side upstairs window is considered wide-opening enough to meet regs.

Other buildings in that street that were presumably once shops (as mentioned above) have had the presumed doorway blocked off.

And, here's a corner shop from that road.
