That's a proper piece of history, it would be criminal to remove it.Green_hopeful said:Can’t remember if I posted this one before. The loo always makes me smile. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/142087184#/?channel=RES_BUY2 -

That really is the house for which the expression 'charming' was invented. I think the Three Bears live there.

Knowing the location well, I am surprised it is not a lot more than that. Very desirable.mark_cycling00 said:A lot going on here:

I agree with your surprise. I had a school friend who lived in one of the cottages just below the church and even in the late 70s and early 80s it was a very des res. Also thought the estate agent's blurb was rather amusing including amenities like the Talkhouse and Rectory Farm but not pointing out the crematorium or the limitations of the road connections to the A40.ProDave said:

Most of the Cotswolds co furniture catalogue in it too.The location of the bookcase makes me think those old Penguin books are unreadable and probably glued together. The shepherd's hut is a great way to get around planning in a conservation area, but the size of the 'flock' makes me think the need for a shepherd is somewhat tenuous."Outrage is the cheapest lever you can pull in a human being." Goat I think. So, is it a goat herder's hut?mark_cycling00 said:A lot going on here:
