It's a bit wierd isn't it? I'd be thinking there was a blocked drain...

Dated in both a bad (flowery wallpaper, carpet and curtains) and an absolutely gorgeous way (huge, high ceilings, amazing period tiles, stained glass and other features). Also a bonus spot the cat (I think?!?) in pictures 22 and 23.

Fully renovated. the bath sealant was literally finished that morning and it is normal to leave the bath part full of water while it cures.RHemmings said:Another trivial one. Would have been better to wait a day and empty the bath before sending the EA round.7 -
Put water in the bath to hold it down and then apply sealant around the edge, otherwise when you first put the water in the sealant might pull away.RHemmings said:Another trivial one. Thanks. I would have waited until the skip was gone too.ProDave said:

That's a delightful property. Love the open fire in the hallway.SadieO said:Dated in both a bad (flowery wallpaper, carpet and curtains) and an absolutely gorgeous way (huge, high ceilings, amazing period tiles, stained glass and other features). £200,000 reduction in just 4 days of being on the market seems very peculiar.SadieO said:Dated in both a bad (flowery wallpaper, carpet and curtains) and an absolutely gorgeous way (huge, high ceilings, amazing period tiles, stained glass and other features). I thought I'd have a look at Google Streetview, just out of curiosity (my own purchase is still continuing on fine.)RHemmings said:Another trivial one. Interesting. There's still a skip full of seemingly different stuff out the front and tall weeds. But, perhaps more interestingly, there appear to be some people involved in a mock violent incident just outside.
Oh, and it appears that this is that thing that annoys me - an end terraced house advertised as a semi. I know it's not much different...
The house sold for £150K in August 2021. If that was bought to be flipped, that's a long time for it to come to market. Unfortunately no previous listing on Zoopla to compare.5 -
Placing of the ovens a little close to the opening of the kitchen door there.robatwork said:

These 3 bed semis in Hampton-in-Arden certainly are spacious. At least compared to the houses I'm used to. But, I just can't quite get my eyes used to their external appearance. 'New-build barn', apparently. Whatever that is.
