With that, I would knock it down. Make good the party wall, and then build a new detached house leaving a gap between the new house and what the old one is joined to.  I really don't think what is there is worth preserving.

Impressed that it's got UPVC windows/door, when the rest of the house looks like nothing has been touched since before UPVC was invented.

Also, according to floor plan, why is there a toilet within a bathroom with a toilet already in it?

Never mind that, there's another toilet with no way into it other than climbing through the window.

I thought that was why they were highlighting the large gardens.
