Fabulous February's NSD Challenge!

  • Popping in quickly to update - I've done 8 NSD's so far this month.  I'm not counting £2.50 parking yesterday for a work meeting as I'll get that back on expenses (is that cheating?!).  Today won't be a NSD as is pooch's operation so will be £160 bill when I pick her up later :-(
I've taken 3 days leave next week so I can be around for aforementioned pooch, but does mean I won't be gadding about spending money as I will be nursing a (not usually very brave) doggy!
    Mortgage: £81,154.58 (03/19) - £54,849 (02/24)

Well done Optimistic Saver and shopaholic :) Shopaholic, I don't think it's cheating if you will get the money back!

Excellent!  And I tend to win on the mileage claim too - just takes ages to come through :-)

  • checking  in   with  11/20   today:)  . though  a  spendy  day coming  up  as campervan  battery  was  beyond  resuscitation    so  have   had  a new  one  fitted this  afternoon   .  I'll  await  the  bill  though :s
  • I’m up to 7 NSD’s. Let’s just hope I don’t make it pointless by spending at the weekend   :#

I was feeling a bit down about only getting 4 and we're almost half way through the month, but I've realised I'm actually spending less per week than I normally do - just a little bit everyday. I barely pass £3 on my spend days!
I also remembered that in previous months I wouldn't let my morning cup of tea at work (at only 50p a pop) ruin my NSD's.
So if I take that into consideration, I'm now on 7/15.
I feel just the same Delta13. But then when I check my spending it’s a lot lower than it normally would be, so I’m having some really low spend days, which is a definite plus for me x
  • Still on day 7 for me, bought a colleague a coffee and a bun today, she was really down and it cheered her up so well worth breaking my NSD for. Shame it wasn’t a cinnamon bun Cathybird x

Awwww hope the pooch is ok. My fur baby cat cost me £400.00 at the vets last month........she’s only just forgiven me!!!!
