So I bought vouchers in advance for £1 - cheaper than the normal £2.40+ and I can plan when I want to use themIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

treated my daughter and her partner to take out for helping me put stuff up loft yesterday
and day before I succumbed to the temptation to have a wee play on gaming site actually won back more than I put in but I'm still not logging it as a good thing deleting the app off my phone and looking for free games since it too easy to think ill just pop a tenner on and have a few games and end up down at end of month :-(finances disaster but baby-stepping back to security:
2024 let's do this !!0 -
Am off to a slow start this month. Overdue opticians appointment on Saturday which cost a king's ransom for a new pair of glasses (£234 )! They were much needed and overdue as my prescription has changed massively - no wonder I've been struggling to see for the last few months and had to ditch the contact lenses in early December as I couldn't read anything anymore!
On Sunday the pooch was at the groomers as she was an overgrown shaggy, tangled mess! She has her op on 14th so needed to get her done before then anyway. Also picked up a couple of soup mugs from a discount shop as I frugally made some soup and then realised I had nothing whatsoever to store it in! 79p though for a lovely soup mug - £4.50 in Tesco for the same thing so happy with that!
So days 1 and 2 of the month were super expensive! Monday and Tuesday were NSD's though and today will be too so that will be 3/20 thankfully. I always seem to do better once I get on a bit of a roll for some reasonMortgage: £81,154.58 (03/19) - £54,849 (02/24)0
