Older topic but the candles from Aldo give a nice scent. I have one in the kitchen. I have an oil burner in the living room that was a gift but the fragrance oils it came with are a bit too stinky. Will have to get some essential oil in the New year.

I highly recommend the teddy throws from Dun Elm. Very toasty.

Boiler has been fixed. Nice and simple job, when he did service he forgot to turn some valves back on. 3 weeks without heating for that. Done some good though as made us realise we don't need it on anywhere near as much as we thought. Debating whether to leave the money in the sinking Fund or to pay it off the card as I put £200 aside for it. Part of me keeps thinking I have my £1k emergency fund if I need it so just pay more off the card. Prime yearly renewal also came out, just waiting for car insurance payment to process now so can pay that off the card. Boots arrived today so try them on later and make a decision about whether gonna keep them or not. Ordered some photos for my dad and besties presents. That's Xmas pretty much done for me. Just need to see what I'm doing because if going to housemates family with her then will get her mum a present for having me there.
Still in love with my dehumidifier. It's slowed down now which is good but my room feels so much better to be in and the cats started joining me again.

Car insurance and prime paid off the card from the sinking Fund. Have got enough left in it for the car tax on 1st Jan and 150 for new tyres as will need in next few months. Plus my 1k emergency fund. Rest is going towards card payments. Leaving it in the bank for now and at end of month once I know what work backpay and payrise is gonna give me at end of month i will then pay it towards the card. I'd like to get the sofa to 1k and tesco to 2k so that's £452 in total will be paid off at end of month leaving me £3k on cards to clear by end of next year. Totally doable especially as Feb and March will be council tax free months as well. I'm aiming for £250 a month off the debts and £200 a month into the sinking fund. Let's hope it all goes to plan.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200

Anyone else just feel shattered at the moment? Had a meeting today with big Big boss and they were going on about how grateful they are and how with winter coming they want to look at ways to make it possible for us to take longer breaks during the day etc. But referrals are up 30% on last year's and were 3 members of staff short, calendars are full for next 4 weeks with appointments and I'm lucky if I get long enough for a lunch break everyday and even when I do its 30 mins which most of it I spend sat at my desk. I'm so ready for the Xmas break I have to say.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200

I don’t mind it as the time goes by more quickly, though will be less fun when summer is here and I want to go outside...August 2019: £28.8k

It just feels like it's been a really long and exhausting year that's been non stop. Not even like been able to have a break and get away or anything really.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200
