I think current refurbs or planned ones whether big or small are really helpful for ideas.
DG gave me good advice and even though I've done quite a few it is so much better to get others in the know constructive help .
Also to stand back and let someone else take a look , it would be a great board to have with each individual project
Today I have been attempting to get a double bed out , down the stairs ready for removal.
The third bedroom I can't get into and it has a sink (I kid you not) in a large wardrobe , so my plan is to take out the sink and use it as a wardrobe, then get rid of some really cheap ones I bought
It needs over boarding on the ceiling but otherwise can be sorted relatively cheaply and I can use the room for my painting and other hobbies .
Just been over to the reclamation yard and got some scaffold planks to sand and make a few shelves and a lovely piece of Ash that I couldn't resist to replace the window board in the living room /snug (It's a bit small to be called a living room!!)0 -

We had an almost identical cupboard/tiny room with window and basin (a fetching shade of green in our case!) at our last house
Ours also became a dumping ground - no Eeyore though - and in the three years we owned the place we never did get rid of that basin so well done you for making a start!
Definitely agree that a board of transformations would be both helpful and illuminating

We bought a new build 13 years ago and found the master, en-suite, bedroom a bit small so knocked two smaller bedrooms into one for our use and redid the bathroom to have a walk in shower in place of the bath. We think this was one of the best things we have ever done.
If it is a problem when you come to sell you can easily put a bath back in place of the shower.0 -
the sink is coming out at the weekend... I have plans0
