Bath or just shower ??

That is very kind ..apart from the plastering we have managed to do it ourselves at weekends so it does have some rough edges !!0

Ah, I remember the shower room! Nice work! We never get to see what people end up doing!
Your plan is missing a lot of the detail! I'm not sure it's 66 inches longs it genuinely wouldn't fit a bath? Is that without the width of the bath?
I usually do bathrooms in Sketch Up but I need all the nitty gritty measurements like the recess behind the bath (which would be ideal for the shower pipes!) and the measurements to establish where the door and window sit in a room.
I'll do a scribble to show you how to get a bit more space on the floorpan though.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

thanks Doozergirl, really valued your response about working with what we had..it has saved a small fortune and still pretty happy with how the space has turned out. Mind you I have moved everything 2 or 3 times in that space to see how it works best .Doozergirl wrote: »Ah, I remember the shower room! Nice work! We never get to see what people end up doing!

Really just a rough idea would be great .. it is small and need someones perspective on it especially from a builders POV ...0 -

The most awful phone scribble.
I don't have the exact dimensions to know if it will work. It's a shame that the tank is new as it might have been nice to move it if a separate shower is important.
I'm actually minded not to make the room that much bigger but I would be stealing that little halllway to make the landing feel bigger.
If the tank weren't new, there might have been some more options to move it out of the smallest room.
I really do need more measurements to work out where stuff goes.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I really can't wait until we get the new forum and can stick pictures straight in. I can't do what you did.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

If you can hang on I'll get some proper dimensions at the weekend , I really value your input in this...like having a virtual interior designer
That cupboard on the mini landing is a pain and have thought about moving the tank into there if it's not too costly and using that space for a separate shower
If you use imgur when copying the pic to use here I just use the forum URL
I hope the with the new format we can just add pics from our own library rather than a hosting site0 -

It never seems to work for me. It used to.
That is one of the new features, so we can use it at the weekend!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Same here
Thanks so much for the pics of your progress, babyblade - it's great to see how someone else's project is coming along! I'm hoping to put up some of my own when the forum changes over...... perhaps we should have a thread of befores/afters or transformations?Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

I've got my self build thread which is buried on the In My Home Board somewhere. I fully intend to start putting actual pictures of our progress on it.
It would be amazing to start using that board for transformations.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

The second is me. And I LOVE a bath! So having teenagers does not preclude people from wanting a bath either.
Yes, my point exactly. What is a negative feature for one person is a positive for another.0
