  • Morning all,

Popping my head in to say hello to you lovely lot, I have missed you. Too much to update for this post so just wanted to say hello for now.

The laundry is drying over the airer, kitchen is up straight and we're off to work/breakfast club respectively. I have £24.37 to last me until next Friday, of which £15 is needed for fuel... lots of creative veggie meals coming up (meat too expensive for our budget right now). Thankfully DS still gets FSM as in KS1. DD on packed lunches and I get a free school dinner.

We are healthy and the children are happy which is the main thing.

    Happy Tuesday all xx

Well done, round :T, you are inspirational. It sounds like this Not At Work Monday thing is really working for you.

Aw, thank you Fayolle :o xx I agree, having Monday at home makes a whole world of difference. Instead of spending every weekend playing catch up with pots and laundry and not much else I now see H2H progress each week. There's an awfully long way to go but progress is progress :T

I must lose weight - I was so breathless in the bank having hefted that bag to the cs that I couldn't speak in full sentences  But there is now a space on the kitchen floor (dining end) instead of a black bag :T

Paid stuff today. radio-gate angst is fluttering around - but that will abate with each 'good' day at the office. I'm ready for work (in the washed and dressed sense :rotfl:). My bed is made and I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off.

    Have a good day xx

dancemum - I sincerely hope flylady power works its magic again today … the vibes are being sent :heartsmil

    Stopped for coffee.

School drop off done, swung back via Mr T for the 5 things on my list, filled car with petrol, and dropped a card and present at a friend’s house for her birthday. I did contemplate pulling up near the butcher’s ( we are lucky enough to have 2 in the town) as I am thinking that just one decent meat purchase a week (we are not massive meat eaters anyway) would support the local shop and also be a good habit. I bottled out - parking, asking etc etc. Maybe another week.

En-suite cleaned before I left. Just mirrors to go, so I’ll do that now. After I’ve sorted out the dead daffodils.

Squishy hugs to you , ASB.
  • Level 1 for the kitchen completed yesterday after Pilates.
Not sure what we'll manage today as it's SW tonight.
  • Coffee break again here, but I feel I've earnt it. Admin frog is cleared, and guess what it only took 30 minutes max but has been hanging around since before Christmas, deadline is this Friday. So all going well I will be able to vote in local elections in March! Weekend and today's post all dealt with straight away, actioned and filed away. Still outstanding things in the tray but at least I am dealing with stuff as it comes in rather than just dumping it all in the tray and waiting until the last minute.

Off to move washing to TD and reload.

Just spotted a gift card in the tray that needs to be activated so I think I will try and do that so it can be used rather than forgotten about until it expires.

Me again. What a difference a day makes. Dailies done, I took the dogs for a walk round the nature reserve. Since getting back I've emptied and washed out all the bins and sorted recycling.

    Having a cuppa now.

Been trying to get on top of the various bibs etc that need hand washing up and took DS2 to toddler group this morning. I did straighten out the sofa etc, but he's undone that as he loves climbing behind the cushions. 1 fridge drawer in the sink soaking as I type.

Just stopped for lunch. It’s been a pretty successful flying morning.
    Towels washed
    Bathroom s&s
    En-suite glass made shiny
Skirting board wiped down in back bedroom where DH has been drilling holes in the walls to build his shelf structure.
    Upstairs floors vacuumed, plus kitchen.
    Kitchen floor mopped.
Front door wiped over. An unusual event in the Fayolle household but apparently where I had cleaned my car in the wind last week, the dirt had all blasted onto the white door!
So, whilst on a roll, I vacuumed the car. Horse hair, stones, enough food crumbs to feed a small nation...
I’ve just put some stale bread into soak as I have a craving for bread pudding. Not sure why, and I had to search out a recipe as it’s been years since I last made one.
