Oh... and to make you longer members feel oh so very old.... Jacob is 11 today!
Happy Birthday Jacob! Wow - time really does go quickly. I am constantly reminded that I'm getting old. One of the parents of one of the boys in DS1's class is going out with the brother of someone whom I taught when they were 8 years old - she's now 18!!
As for slacking pigpen - with that amount of laundry and dishwasher uses etc in a day, you're putting my 3 washloads to shame. Definitely not slacking - just prioritising what you need to for you family.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

Meal plan for the week.
Half term looms - make double of one meal (at least) and freeze it for a lazy day later. I tried this tonight by making a pasta bake - however, the family enjoyed it so much that they asked for seconds and there's barely a portion left for one. It will become lunch tomorrow.

Evening  i am in ....but late to the party
Thank you to Valli and Natty for listys.....caught up with Fred quickly tonight, I must keep the dust blown of laptop so I stay up to speed with everyone...
I used up all my spoons very early on today, so my flying has been very sedate, but still progress
I have an old plastic playhouse which I am donating on Wednesday. I had some help dismantling it at the weekend, so I just needed to hose it down before I take it to its next home.....This morning was bright and dry, sadly it needed a scrub with CIF outdoor upvc clearner as well as a quick spray......after soaking my trainers to the skin, I thought I might as well clean all the back downstairs window, windows sills and patio doors with the upvc cleaner. I stopped the window cleaner about a year ago when cash got very very tight, but I didnt have the strength to do it myself......so now I have lovely downstairs back windows and dirty upstairs windows
got WM x 3 and TD x 2 done in time while sorting windows etc,
decluttered a nice long bath with a big fizzy bath bomb to warm up, then quick S&S in bathroom
spent some time tidying my makeup area. I have 3 makeup brushes which are scratchy and horrible, if I pick them up, I put them down again and pick again.....decided to bin them today, so I never have the frustration of picking them up again.
Used my new brush cleaner on every single make up brush, its been a bit of a frog, I stopped counting at 30 brushes, but they are all clean now
1 sink of WUDUPA, planned tonights dinner, and got food out to defrost for tomorrows lunch and dinner.
Shopping at Mr Al. Made Beef Stifado and Lemon Potatoes for tea tonight, which took 3 hours, but was very worth it.
Lunch is Fishermans pie tomorrow, and tomorrows dinner is Dr Pepper Gammon in the slow pot.
Decluttered some TV and now Ive caught up with Fred, its my time to do some reading
Hugs sticks and spoons for those in need xxThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -

You lot are amazing. Strangely DS2 got up before 6.50am, had breakfast & got ready early for his school bus at 8am. I didn’t have to utter one word of prompting this morning.
Medicine cupboard sorted and inventory updated
Bathroom cabinet lower shelf cleaned
Magic crystals put in sink and left for a few hours.
Toothbrush pots changed
DS2 toothbrush head replaced
Charity bag Hokey Cokey played again
Ground floor dysoned
Visited dancegran and did a few jobs there.
Set off to the crem but traffic was busy so I turned back. I still don’t think it has sunk in so I thought a visit to dancepop’s tree may help. I will go another day.
Had a go on ring fit trying to avoid the exercises involving the shoulder. DS2 had a good evening.
I’m interested in the makeup brush cleaner, skinty x0 -

- went to gym, to be told poor instructor had got her car damaged in a large pothole on her way to take BodyBalance. We joined in with a Core abs class which was pretty tough.
- remembered to fill car with petrol on the way home.
- continued printing the lengthy LPA for Mr N/MIL, which my computer seems to have taken exception to.
- Ordered more ink for printer.
- Added latest modifications to new report template; each time I write one in the 'new' format, I list anything I want to add to the 'master' so hopefully it will all be streamlined. Must say I seem to be writing them up faster than the old style.:j
- Took book back to library.
- Went to Mr T on the way back from drumming lesson.
- Carried a few things backwards and forwards between kitchen, garage and dining room. It looks an almighty mess everywhere but we are making progress. Culled loads of old paperwork from pinboard and letter racks. Mr N has almost finished painting the kitchen walls. I'm gofer and cook as he's taller than me (and much neater).
- emptied box full of recycled paper from my office into blue bin (or whatever colour it is).Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning all.
Normal service will be resumed today and I only have one appointment. Going to get physio done first.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all
So far the day’s plans include 2 trips to small town during the day and one to big town this evening. So much for trying to cut down the miles. DH has just called on his way to work to say that the nearby motorway is blocked which means that getting out of the village will be a challenge.
So today’s plans might best be described as “fluid”. So far, wm is running, dw emptied, recycling out and some bits and pieces have been WULTD.
Back later, have a lovely day all.0 -
Morning all
I missed yesterday as afterwork went to have cake and tea with a friend and met another friend there. We went because we felt we had let her down a little on Friday as we couldn't join her when she was interviewed by TV about Br****. We had all originally been on TV talking about it 18 months ago. Seems it was short and sweet (they only contacted us on Wednesday evening) and her OH was able to be there.
Need to get going today as am at home until late morning or early afternoon.
Nothing done yet, need coffee as had a very bad nights sleep.
See you later once I've found my GUAG0
