Well, that was an hour I wasn't planning on spending the way I spent it!

Landline rang: automated voice saying my bank card was having over £600 sent to a foreign country . Scam, methinks and hangs up.

But seed of doubt has been sown so:

I've been to town and whilst there I dropped off a black bin bag full of DS's cast offs at the cs (note to self: black bin bags are heavy when full  - might be better to fill smaller bags!); called at the bank and checked my balance plus provided my mobile phone number to be phoned in case of suspicious activity on my account. I don't think they even have my landline number! Filled Pip with petrol, and on the way home I paid the rent and called to see Mr C00p - YS quiche for lunch :money:

I've crossed off the 'give bank my mobile number' which went on my to do list on 3rd August :o and pegged out second load of washing.

I am now recovering from  and hefting a bin bag through town :D

Glad to hear you are better than you were Jazee xx

Sink is all nice and sparkly again (water marks are a pain here as it's a very hard water area where I live, so it doesn't look like that for long - plus whoever thought that brushed stainless steel was a good idea instead of the shiny type, needs their head checked). I have realised that our draining rack is on its way out though, so now need to find a good one to replace it - have created a thread if anyone wants to add their thoughts.

1 load in TD, our bedsheets in WM. Still need to put 1 dry load away but DS2 is not looking in the slightest bit tired, and unfortunately cannot be trusted for very long if I go upstairs without him. I may see if can convince him to come and watch tv in his cot whilst I put it all away.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • Good afternoon :D

Not much been achieved here today. We have been to town to pick up some toiletries & printer paper. We also need a new laundry basket (for filling & emptying the WM) but W!lkos didn’t have one and the one in Mr S was tiny!

I’ve now had some lunch. So now it’s time to take my tub full of smelly compost to the allotment bin to finish off, and maybe spend a little time tidying up down there. It has been neglected too long!

    Evening all.

Well done, round :T, you are inspirational. It sounds like this Not At Work Monday thing is really working for you.

This evening I have crossed a few of the level 1’s off the list. I should really do something else useful for an hour or so but unfortunately cba ;). Monday is the only evening that I have the LR to myself so I get full control of the remote - and that includes the off button, iyswim.

Non-work day tomorrow, so I’ll see how far I get with jobs before I have to go out at 2.30. A list is needed, methinks.
