Round 1 completed + airer put away, dish cloth now soaking in a bleach solution, tatty  baking tray binned, bag full of biodegradable carrier bags that have biodegraded  binned, 4 bottles of SPF 15, 4 bottles of SPF 30 and two bottles of after sun (all of unknown date) binned and caps recycled.

I actually said 'fling' out loud when I put the baking tray in the bin :D

Towels and tea towels are swishing and I'm :coffee:

    You're doing well Round.

After my earlier post I took the parrots and went upstairs to get dressed, but my body was telling me to go back to bed so I did and I've just got up again. Still don't feel right but I've had some toast.

Have texted to say I won't be at meeting later. Already feel like going back to bed again.
Spend less now, work less later.

Thank you Jazee xx If you need to rest, then rest - you did a lot of flying yesterday; if you're feeling under par today do what's right for you. Self-care is not selfish. Gentle hugs xx

I'm going to clean out Sweetie now as that's top priority today :D

    Sweetie is sulking.

He was quite happy to be carried through to the kitchen and watch while I gave his removable cage bottom a soak and a good scrub, refilled his seed pots and drinker, and I even took out his mirror and gave it a clean, so he can see himself :D But now he's back in the living room he's got his head to one side with a 'what have you done to my floor?' look on his face :rotfl: He likes to pootle about in the debris and find random seeds that he may have missed earlier - and there's no debris now. (another male in the house who dislikes clear horizontal surfaces :rotfl:)

I've also anti- bac spray s&sed the kitchen - I get 's&s' now that I have clear and clean horizontal surfaces in the kitchen :D I must admit s&s was something of a mystery to me before: I understood the principle, but I'd look at my cluttered surfaces and think how on earth? :o Towels and tea towels are pegged out, and second load is swishing. Oh, and I've thrown the millet that Sweetie won't eat out to the birds and recycled the box.

Sponge and toothbrush used to clean Sweetie's cage now binned.

Round, your description of Sweetie made me laugh!

Rosie got me up at 5.15, whining to go out, but I had to be up by 6.00 anyway to get DH started on his prep for the horse piddle appointment. At least I managed to finish an important job and send it off in time for start of business; the proofs have gone backwards and forwards since then and are now all signed off by me. Job done. Good.

    Also S&S'd kitchen and bathroom.

Now going to keep Jazee company and inhabit the sofa for a couple of hours to catch up on sleep - it's a decadent lifestyle here today.... think I deserve it after a full-on weekend!

Good morning, hello and TY for Fred.

I NEED to be in but my GUAG has dribbled out of my ear and oozed off somewhere.. I think Dot slurped it all up judging by the whizzing about she was doing at silly o'clock this morning.

Depositing Twinkle at nursery.. considering having OH take her on her bike because I am evil.. and getting the kitchen habitable this afternoon.. it's really the front room I need cleaning but the rest of the house needs doing too and I'm not too sure where to start.

Need to gather laundry from my room and get that done.. it looks like a hanging outside day.. that would make things SO much easier to be able to dry outside.. I need to kitten proof the garden so the horrors can play outside safely.. I don't want them to be roamers.

    Morning all (just),

Thanks for the list Valli. I'm in again this week.

Feeling a bit rough again today - I've managed to get rid of my really bad headache (it's just a dull background ache at the moment), but have gained a sore throat. :( Looks like I may have caught the lurgy from my Mum or niece and nephew when we saw them on Thursday. AF has come to visit too (why is is always when you're already feeling rough?).

Well we managed to successfully finish DS1's beaded loom bracelet at a ridiculously late time considering it was a school night, so hopefully his teacher will recognise all of his efforts today.

DS2 is happily playing with playdough at the dining table which I cleaned before he started (he does his playdough on a tray, so hopefully not too much mess to clean up afterwards).

Must crack on with the list. 1 load in WM and 1 needs to be put away still. Must also hoover off our bed as little black furry has been sleeping on it again, and it needs de-fluffing.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
