I think Andy means technical ability ... age may be a factor (and always has been ... back in my day the adage was "if you want your VHS machine setup, ask a 4 year old"), but age <> technical ability.

Better than a chromebook,or Chrome? Think all the apps she will ever need will be installed by default. If zorin was used, it looks very much like windows too. Printing may be slightly more challenge, but her grand son can sort that out

You may be correct but, surely all the folks on here would be able to help her to to upgrade to W10, without calling on her grandchildren
