    Thank you..
I've come to the point that I'm going to try to tackle £1k at the time to keep me motivated.
Thinking I'm driving myself crazy of thinking of ways I can do to save/make money to get it gone. X

    Hi diary friends,

Today has been a day of catching back up with housework. Sold a few items, only £43 but its better than nothing, so sent straight off to the loan. Have a few days off so will continue to list items to make money and to declutter unwanted items.
If anyone haven't used the vinted app before I would recommend, free to list, put the price you want to sell at and buyer pays for postage..

Managed a nsd today, hoping for a few more while I'm off. This month Is really tight with having to pay out a few unexpected spends. So any payments to the loan will have to be through selling unwanted items.

Hope every one is safe an well xx

Made another £22 today, so items already been posted, will have to wait until they received items before receiving money, so will wait until money clears into the bank for sending of to loan.
I've have been thinking alot lately about the interest I pay on my loan, and I am considering whether to try and get a 0% interest credit card to put my loan on to. Have anyone ever done this?? Not sure yet what to do so will give it some more thought xx
  • I haven't done this but beware the change in minimum payment. It could be higher or lower and either way that could bring problems.

Also would you get a credit limit high enough? I don't think there are many BT offers around at the moment but l guess it depends who is asking.

    Sorry for the delay @daydreamergeneralwaster
I've decided to keep it as it is at the moment untill I can look into abit more. I'm currently paying £425 a month anyway so wouldn't mind if it was a little higher than that. But like I said I'm going to look into it a bit more first.

So last day today of a week off, managed to list a few items on vinted, managed to sell 10 so far, £100 made so that money has been transferred off the loan.
Loan dd payment in 11 days and that's going to put me in the £8k mark.
Hoping I can get a few more sales this week and list more items to get the loan into the £8k before the direct debit goes out, either way I will be happy to see the first figure change 😊..
So list of things to do today
    -list atleast another 15 items
    -clean house
    -bake cookies
-meal prep food ready for tonight
    -send of parcel
-get things organised ready for back to work tomorrow
Will post later how I get on xx

So I am back... with alot of things changed.
I now have a new job, less money but so worth it for my mental health. Also gives me more time with the family also with new job being Mon to Friday.

So money wise, in the last 7 months. I decided to change my loan added £1000 to the debt, apr it really low and loan payments are now £220. With the new year I'm now determined to get back on track.

So where am I now, debt currently stands at £9,034. Not where I wanted to be this time of the year.

Last year was hard with mental health, changing jobs, going 6 weeks without no pay. With that aside, mental health is now on track and I'm better than ever and now back on track with money.

    Aim for 2022
    - declutter and sell on vinted
    -get overtime in work
    -save money on food bills
    -no takeaways

Happy new year everyone ✨ xxx

Looking at the accounts and just made a £44 overpayment on the loan, now putting me under the £9k mark on £8,993. Any money sold on vinted will head straight to the loan. X
