Did they send the landowner authority redacted or did you do that? It is not permitted to do that and you should complain to the judge.1

My bad - should be fixed now.KeithP said:I'm going to have to take your word on what those documents tell you.
They're too difficult to read on their side.

That was me. The version I received doesn't have the black boxes. Just trying to be careful about revealing anything personal or commercially sensitive.Le_Kirk said:Did they send the landowner authority redacted or did you do that? The regulars need to see the agreement in its entirety, only redact anything relating to you. As it is an agreement between landowner and PPC it is hardly relating to you. Agreements like this have to be signed in a particular way, see this: -44 Execution of documents(1) Under the law of England and Wales or Northern Ireland a document is executed by a company—(a) by the affixing of its common seal, or(b) by signature in accordance with the following provisions.(2) A document is validly executed by a company if it is signed on behalf of the company—(a) by two authorised signatories, or(b) by a director of the company in the presence of a witness who attests the signature.(3) The following are “authorised signatories” for the purposes of subsection (2)—(a) every director of the company, and(b) in the case of a private company with a secretary or a public company, the secretary (or any joint secretary) of the company.Does the agreement/contract you have comply with this?3

Are there any rules of confidentially applying to me around sharing unredacted documents received from the other side as part of legal proceedings, on a public forum?
My strong instinct is that there almost certainly are.0 -
Did you receive anything with that document that said it was for your eyes only, or similar?MoneySavingPest said:Are there any rules of confidentially applying to me around sharing unredacted documents received from the other side as part of legal proceedings, on a public forum?

If not, then the answer to your question is - no.2 -
None. People show these all the time. Why on earth cover up the location and name of the company client?MoneySavingPest said:Are there any rules of confidentially applying to me around sharing unredacted documents received from the other side as part of legal proceedings, on a public forum?PRIVATE 'PCN'? The document hasn't been signed by VCS - at all. How does this affect it's validity?Jenni x1

It isn't valid. No, you are not bound to keep its confidential. What other threads did you read first before making that assumption?0
