Morning all
Hope your presentation is worthwhile CLF
Got caught up with other stuff instead, maybe tomorrow
Other plans:
Get various tubs of stock out of freezer and reduce it (as suggested by BB) so that it fits into ice cube trays to free up some spaceDone, used small flat plastic containers instead of ice cube trays
Might as well redo freezer inventory while I am at it Done
Cleaning upstairs - bathroom and main bedroom Done
RM surveys stuff Done
Check banks, update spreadsheet etc Done
All food from home, no plans to spend anything todayUsed up more crackers left over from Christmas at lunchtime. Dinner was slightly odd, slices of cooked turkey with HM ratatouille and a jacket potato. It tasted ok though!

Morning
feeling a lovely mix of energy and zen today
Hope it lasts...
ditty sorry to hear about the further running injury. Do you think you might need to invest in some new trainers/support sock thingy's?
Today I have the day ahead of me and not a lot on. I am glad for that and intend to take it semi easy as the medication I was on (but was taken off of yesterday) has been making me a bundle of energy and my body is tired!
However today I intend to:
* logged on to my bank. Saw the horror of payday and only receiving £524  really need/want to get back to work soon....
* did some money shuffling and reminded dd I lent her £30 the other day...
* need to go through cc statement and work out what's from what pot
* also need to do a donation to my niece's marathon appeal for her birthday. Must do this today as it was her birthday on Monday
* have hung up one load of washing and another to do in a minute
* got ys sausages & braised red cabbage out of freezer for tea mmmmm
* TOMM - going up in loft for 30 mins
* do some sewing - looking forward to thisI am making a pair of harem trousers for little gd who is going to put in an appearance anytime now out of a top I wombled the other day :money:
I have a telephone catch up with my boss today at lunchtime to start the conversation regarding my return to work
Right will go do this washing and then take the pup for a walk before getting the sewing machine out :grinheartDF as at 30/12/16

Morning all,
Dnms, Hope the call with your boss goes well.
Todays "small things"
:grinheart Kids had more ys bread with scrambled eggs for breakfast ✅
:grinheart I made a batch of porridge for dh & I. I can't believe how much I used to spend on sachets of porridge years ago. ✅
:grinheart Put a stew together in the slow cooker - added in a little pot of celery from the freezer & diced the last two potatoes that were sprouting so as not to waste anything. This isn't for today but I try and get food prepped and sorted on a Friday for the weekend otherwise dh will talk us into getting something "quick" whilst we are out and spending a fortune. ✅
:grinheart Run the dishwasher on the quick wash and empty ✅ ✅
:grinheart Check banking/update spreadsheet ✅
:grinheart Make dh & I a "use up" omelette to go with the last of the leek and potato soup for lunch as he's wfh today. ✅
That's my start.... I'll be back!Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

ditty sorry to hear about the further running injury. Do you think you might need to invest in some new trainers/support sock thingy's?
Thanks DNMS I actually think I need to do lots of strengthening and then get a new pair of trainers. I have been 'wearing out old trainers' and I believe they now are!
Now have a bit of money in bank but am dreading how quickly they will disappear. Ds is a new sports clothes item and I will get it now as it is the club group order window where I'll save 10-20%, I have topped up the car - was running on empty and put food in the fridge - and that should then leave me with about £20-40 left towards next months bills.
Anyways I'm happy I have choices, I bought coffee and milk for work today generally spend about £5 a month towards shared coffee club items.
So anyways trainers will have to wait, bit I think I can switch to an other old pair, I won't be running this weekend anyways. Sadly.
Have a lovely weekend all.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
Emergency fund: 100/1000 10%
Weight loose 8.6 kg - while having fun. 0/8.6 0%
Focus debt to clear HSBC £10/1111, 0% updated May 250 -
Also.
:grinheart Made sure all sockets are off again ✅
:grinheart I've made a crumble type dessert using, picked berries out of the freezer, a too far gone banana mashed and two apples from the fruit bowl. For the topping I've used 100g porridge oats, 100g of mixed nuts that I've blitzed, 30g honey and 30g of coconut oil that I found at the back of the fridge✅ will have with some ys yogurts too
:grinheart Updated rm with some unadd items ✅
:grinheart No heating on til the kids are home at the earliest, its milder today but I still have an extra jumper on. ✅
:grinheart Make some popcorn with the kernels in the use up box ready for our movie night tonight ✅ kept the un-popped kernels in another bag to see if they'll pop next time??? . We watched the first two Hunger Games films last weekend and the other two films are on Amzn prime so we'll watch those this weekend
:grinheart Scrub the kitchen down using stardrops & washable cloths
:grinheart Book next weeks gym classes online to get me back there! ✅
:grinheart This afternoons decluttering is going to be on some paperwork - I've given away a "spare" microwave so will go through folders and see if I have a manual for it and also get rid of instruction books for things we no longer own
:grinheart Just ironed dh's work shirts, all other washing put straight away ✅Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Afternoon all :hello:
Today’s list of done/to do:
Walked to meet friend rather than get the car out. Good to get steps up and some lovely fresh air. Friend paid for lunch
Tea from stores, snack only for me.
Check banking
Check credit card. Refund arrived 5 weeks after requested. Better late than never.
Washing shuffles on airer
Booked appointment for a free treatment next week
Used a bunch of spring onions that I’d missed during fridge triage in a wrap for DH breakfast
Froze some crumpets
Have a good day all. Purps.0 -

Thanks BB. I have compromised a bit by concentrating it down and putting in not in ice cubes but in much smaller containers. Instead of 2 large plastic tubs and 5 smaller ones I now have one small (labelled) flat tray each of lamb, game and ham stock
Also redid my freezer inventory, and wow do I have a lot of stuff to use up  To start this off, I took out some sponge finger biscuits left over from Christmas, and made a trifle base thing of sponge biscuits and peaches set in sugar free jelly. I won't add layers of custard and whipped cream as I did at Xmas, as our waistlines don't need it, but will have a little splash of left over single cream with it instead. There will be enough for puddings for at least 2 days.
Also taken out some chicken drumsticks and some pork fillet that were getting a bit freezer burned, and will convert those into curries tomorrow when defrosted, using up other freezer oddments in the processThe chicken drumsticks were defrosted once dinner was cooked, so I made it up into a curry with a jar of paste for quickness, some carrots, celery and peppers from the freezer, an onion, some garlic and a tin of tomatoes. I will make a Thai green curry with the pork tomorrow.
