Morning folks!
I missed posting yesterday as work very busy again. I have taken Sunday off this week to make up for working on Thursday last week. My intention is that OH and I will go out for a meal. He's starting to really miss it as I've just been too ill/tired/anxious to go out and it's something that we used to do fairly regularly.
I have a lot of things that I'd like to do this weekend so it'll likely be a rolling list. I'm trying to make the most of the current piece of reasonable chipperness!
:heartpuls B/L/D from stores
:heartpuls Check PMP - done
:heartpuls Meal plan - done
:heartpuls Order shop for click and collect
:heartpuls Put washing away. (Neverending task) - done
:heartpuls Try on some of my never worn jeans to see if any can go to the cs. - done. None gone yet.
:heartpuls Go to fabric shop to look at some yarn. Will likely order online but want to check the colours IRL
:heartpuls Go to local DIY shop to get some seeds. they have some that are 99p a pack! - done
:heartpuls Hair cut later. Discuss new colour scheme with hairdresser. Am thinking of going back to red/orange/yellow
:heartpuls Weekly scrapbook - done
:heartpuls Fill the bird feeders. Although I think that the squirrel eats most of it- done. Picked up some stuff to stop the squirrels eating the food apparently!
:heartpuls Make a rice pudding as I accidentally sent OH for milk when we had a full 4 pinter
:heartpuls Clear another bed at the allotment - not today as OH has pinged something in his back. Went for a nice walk then got into our garden for an hour instead
:heartpuls Heating off as much as possible. It's been a series of horrible foggy days here. - done
:heartpuls Remind OH that he needs to book the car in for its service - done
:heartpuls Hopefully fix my Halifax app by redownloading it. it won't launch. - had to reset my details but seems to be working now without too much fuss!
Have a good one all

1LL when we make stock, after straining it, we dramatically reduce it so it is very concentrated and freeze in the ice cube tray. When we use it we add a cube or two to the dish along with the required amount of liquid, usually water occasionally milk.

Morning all :hello:
I’ve an all day appointment today, which will stop me from doing much but will also mean I don’t spend anything. They’ll provide me lunch too
Yesterday was uber productive, black bin bag full and box full to charity shop, including 2 big winter coats of DH. Hope they will be of some use to someone. Got a refund on an item, collected something so I don’t have to pay postage and did a shop at l1dl. Stuck to list.
Today I will:
Fill in some forms and put in post
Check banking
Reconcile just for points credit card
B/D from stores. Will only need snack type thing for tea - have leftovers in fridge too to use up
Few loads of washing, out on airer
Unsubscribe from some e mails
Start a page/month in my book and jot down some big things I’d like to achieve in those months
Have a good day all. Purps.0 -

* Check OP/PA
* Write silly little poem to go with gift
* Check TCB to see if anything has become payable
* Climb behind wardrobe in spare room to switch TV off at the wall - didn't do this yesterday
* Go to circuits

* Cut top off moistoriser to get end bits out!
That's everything I can think of for now. Hope you all have a good day.Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

Evening all
No fog today thankfully!
Not a great deal achieved today, though I did do the weekly shop at Lidls and used a £5 off voucher that had arrived in the post.
Also went to a market in the next town (as we had some other errands to do), and bought fruit and veg. Got 2 heavy bags full for £3.69.
Donated some unwanted net curtains to a CS
Had HG fruit from the freezer with breakfast
Leftover Christmas crackers and cheese for lunch
Dinner was salmon from the freezer, marinated with soy sauce, ginger, garlic, sping onions and chilli. I used spring onions from the garden. These are ones that were sown late and have over wintered in a big pot. They are sprouting nicely now, though are smaller than supermarket onesAlso used homegrown garlic and chilli.
Sorted out my baking tin cupboard, and put aside 2 large springform cake tins for DD1 when I see her next week.
Finished the ironing and put the ironing board and airer away
Put more stuff on new laptop
Thanks for the reminder about reducing stock for freezing BB - I will be getting some out of the freezer and doing this tomorrow (it will be reboiled so fine to refreeze).
Also intend to sort out seed tin and list what I need to buy, and update spreadsheet with recent spends.0 -
Hi
All meals from stores. Really empty fridge now. Will have to do some baking/cooking this weekend. Had to make pasta salads for lunches tomorrow as ran out of bread.
Did manage NSD though, so happy with that.
Am thinking I might do a £50 tesco shop for £5 of fuel. On the other hand I won't get a full tank tomorrow, probably just £25 worth, so will probably go to Lidl instead.
I am actually ending the week with a clean kitchen, pasta salad almost ready for tomorrow, laundry packed away, and for tomorrow evening I'll have a full fridge. All is fairly OK.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning folks
A quick one as I'm going to dash into work for an hour. Not that I'll be working but there's and interesting and important presentation regarding the company structure at 9am that I would like to see and hear first hand.
I thought I'd sleep like a log last night after that walk and the gardening but it was a bit warm in our room and OH had another nightmare which woke me up.
Small things today:

:heartpuls PMP - done
:heartpuls Click and collect big shop. nip to butchers for sausagemeat. - done
