Well this morning I've managed to hoover all of the downstairs, up the staircase and the landing, and used up some of the childrens' leftovers for my lunch in a bid to declutter the fridge a bit. Also put a washload on and after washing for a second time (DS2 interrupted the cycle again as we don't have a child lock on our machine), it is now in the tumble dryer in the garage.

Still cannot get a response from DS1 about what he wants to eat for lunch, and DS2 has requested his sandwich, which he's half-eaten and then abandoned.

Have been trying to find various replacement parts online - hoover bags for a hoover that my Mum gave me (our old hoover was bagless and much easier but had given up the ghost), and a new dishwasher rack for our DW as the posts have all worn out and are leaving rust on our dishes. Having seen the price of the racks (even on Ebay), I think I'm inclined to get DH to just replace the dishwasher. No wonder we live in a throwaway society!

  • Morning everyone

With DS at home there is no hospital visiting so its a weekend of doing very little, and oh how you appreciate such luxuries when you have been making 100 mile round trips every day to visit him. Not sure how long this will last though as he had a blood transfusion on Friday and we find out tomorrow what his red blood cells are doing. There is a strong possibility that he will end up in hospital again.

So he wanted to go out to lunch today with his grandparents so that was easily arranged. We cant really afford lunch out but nothing that can be done about that. DH is managing to do some work at least.

House fairly tidy, keeping on top of the basics and had a tidy round yesterday. In theory I should be able to do some flying next week but its not easy to plan anything at the moment.

Oh and I went to the gym yesterday, I have some catching up to do! Happy Sunday all x

    Morning :hello:

I came down this morning and saw the house as it is  _pale_

I'm over the initial shock and I can see that both the kitchen and the living room are a tale of two halves - some of the dots have joined up and it makes the rest look worse! No-one told me that bit :o

It's a work in progress - just like me :D And breathe...

    Round 1 =
    set WM swishing
    laundry shuffle
    get washed and dressed
    feed the birds
    put out the recycling
    WUDUPA a bowl of pots
    breakfast

Hovel to Haven is happening in 2020.

    Rxx

ETA: good to see you YL - you are often in my thoughts xx

    Morning all

Hope you are all ok x

I’m up and had breakfast but nothing else yet... plan for today is

Finish hoovering the half of the house not done yesterday
    Laundry as always
    Ironing, DH will do that
    Work prep for next week
Some food prep as we are both out Mon and Tues so makes it less of a rush
Pop to shop, I missed a couple of items from the list yesterday

There is probably more but I think that will do for now. Going to get moving and see how I get on. Have a good one x

Morning all. Hugs for YSL and anyone else who needs them.

Dailies done and I attempted to walk the dogs but poppet got spooked by shooting so we came home. Indoor plants and flowers refreshed and physio done. I had a good nights sleep finally. I had run out of one of my tabs but three days back on them and I'm almost pain free again.

About to go to the cinema and will pop in farm foods on the way home.

    Have a great day everyone.

Hope your DS enjoys his lunch out today YORKSHIRELASS and that his blood count is where it should be when your results come through. I'm new to the thread so haven't been following your story, but it sounds like you could do with one of these hugs: t4608.gif

roundtuit my house is most definitely a work in progress and I have a huge amount of decluttering and sorting to do before it will look better. It's so nice to see parts of it tidy though rather than seeing mess everywhere all the time.

Flying this morning has just consisted of bringing the washing downstairs and sorting it into its piles and putting the dishwasher on so far. I also had a look on pinterest at toy storage solutions and how to keep on top of it all - I really wish I could convince my Mum that she doesn't need to buy something to unwrap at every birthday etc, as we're over-run with stuff! I need to get on top of it all, but didn't even make a start on DS1's homework yesterday, so really need to do that this afternoon once DH comes back from shooting (targets not animals).
