  • My desk is tidy and clean!

There are 15 things in the tray that need to be dealt with but all the filling has been done, rubbish thrown and other bits put away. The desk or rather table has been cleaned and I now have somewhere to sit and do the necessary work.

    TD is on.

It's now 12.30 here so am going to have some lunch, going to the hairdresser's at 2 so that's my reward for doing well this morning.

    Happy flying

My progress is minimal but I am feeling satisfied to be back to doing something in the house.
The physio gave me some new exercises to improve my leg and I must be doing something wrong as my back is now agony as well as the leg. Mr Pooh has a back problem too, so our nights are very disturbed. I am hoping that moving about more will help and no better way than flying.

Despite all of that I have managed to clear one dining table and emptied and returned to order my baking cupboard. Now we can see things again. I am going to work on my plastic tub drawer next.

Mr Pooh has been brill at looking after me these last four months but it is now time to take back the reins proper.

  • Urgh, this week has not been kind on the ol' flying. Will give up for this week and try again next week instead. I'm not doing paid stuff on Wednesday so at least I can give away a bit of time to flying then.

    Hello all.

Mainly just dailies here the last couple of days but I have sorted the cupboard where cleaning products are. Just need to start using them.

Between them, two friends have taken up a lot of my time this week, so my flying has continued to be minimal. I have bought some bananas and DH's birthday card (no connection intended :rotfl:); the house is generally tidy; the kitchen worktops are clear and clean, and the LR and bedrooms are OK; but...

For the rest of this afternoon/evening I plan to
    - finish my :coffee:
    - take Rosie for her walk
    - finish entering some info in a database, in order to then be able to clear away a pile of papers
    - cook tea
    - finish tidying my study
    - go to choir practice

Tomorrow Flying will take priority, however washed out I feel!

(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed xx

Back tomorrow when I might have some flying progress to report x

Absolutely shattered from work today and sporting a sore throat too (hopefully it's just due to raising my voice over a very chatty class today rather than coming down with a bug). No flying done by me, but DH has washed a small area of sticky floor that has been annoying me for a while, and the wall behind our kitchen bin that was a bit grubby. Think I may actually go to bed with the kids tonight as I'm that tired.groslit.gif
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Well.. We have got the referral for Dot.. that is in motion.. the psychologist said she displays many traits children her age may display but he doesn't feel she will outgrow them and feels an assessment would be beneficial. He has met her now and observed her fidgetting and hopping up and down and hands flapping and he lack of social cues.. the first conversation went..
Psy. What is it like being 8?
    Dot. Same as being 7
Psy. what was being 7 like?
    Dot. Same as 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.. How old are you?

She also asked to go back to her class because she was bored of him and wanted hugs when she left. She was overly tactile, as she is, and was touching him.. She is a delight.

He asked, as did my mother, why I wanted her assessing.. My answer was 'understanding' .. I think she is wonderful but I know her, I want other people to understand and accept her rather than judge her and label her 'naughty' or whatever negative label they can give her.

Anyway.. My pots are all clean, My laundry is piled like the Alps.. and I have filled 2 binbags of rubbish and 3 for my sisters friends children. Several ebeast parcels have left the house and some Next returns gone.. I need some major house reclaimation.

I am in dire straights financially but I am working through it.. 3 more weeks until OH is paid.. until then we will struggle through and scrape the bills together.. and I have the holiday to pay for.

Kittens are in for snippy snippies on Wednesday.

So, the weekend plan is drop off 3 or maybe 4 binbags at sisters friends, a binbag for DIL and laundry catch-up. I aim to add at least 10 things to ebeast and tidy my rather dishevelled bedroom.. and get my thumb nail fixed!!

Oh.. and I need to knit a baby blanket!

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.

Today's plans include dyeing my hair, repairing a bedside table, helping DH by typing up a report and planting some seeds. Will fit in dailies, physio, maybe help DH clean his car, and he says there's a load of washing from his few days away.

    Have a great day everyone.
