    Evening all

I don’t feel like I’ve achieved much in the flying line today. As always I peaked before going to work, so this evening has been a write off beyond the usual cook dinner / tidy kitchen routine.

Bed stripped and remade, bedding washed, ironing pile cleared. I managed to sneak to the market before work and picked up f&v, including Seville oranges, so it will be Marmalade Day this weekend hopefully. Chuffed to realise that dinner tonight was all home grown at some point during last year, apart from the sausages. And mostly from the Freezer That Keeps On Giving.

Have a lovely evening all. I’m off to make a cuppa.

  • Evening ladies  So far so good, Im back for 3rd day running! its so lovely seeing everyones progress, gives me a kick in the rump to keep doing a little something

flying off piste today, mostly out of the house, so apologies if I missed anything important

Got nasty ugly frog swallowed that has been hanging around since before Xmas, got about 2 car loads of stuff rehomed/degibbled to various locations today.

Had some girly ME time today, lunch, gossip and new makeup with one of my friends. I recommended she comes and joins us, so I will have to revert to Listy tomorrow and reorganize my makeup station, so I can tick it off properly and be ready to find her on here when she comes xx

I will be having some assistance tomorrow, so I can get some serious black bin bag dancing under way. Then I can hopefully get a few more things sorted off listy and maybe eat a few more frogs too
The cold never bothered me anyway

Wot she said - hope you are both ok xx

Running late for no reason - didn’t manage to dust the LR so that will have to wait until after work along with the other planned jobs.

    Have a lovely day all.

Well I'm blocked into my house again by the water works - they did actually just knock on my door to check if I was going out at all today this time, which is nice of them, and they said that they could put the plates over the holes if necessary. Water will be turned off again this afternoon at some point, so the washing machine is currently on, and I need to try and get most of the water-based cleaning done this morning.

DS1 is in school until 4pm today as long as he lasts that long (he was feeling poorly last night but was determined to go in today as he's got his first maths board games club after school today), so hopefully if DS2 obliges and has a nap, I may be able to get some good progress on the lists. I'm working all day tomorrow (still supply teaching), and usually come home to a bomb site as DH can only look after DS2 and doing any form of housework on top is too much for him.

After a lovely day yesterday, I'm lacking motivation today. Have spent most of the morning decluttering emails and responding to one that might result in a job offer if I haven't offended them with what I believe is a realistic salary expectation.

Clothes put away from the heated airer
    Bleach thrown down the toilet

    And that is it!

Going to walk the dog now despite it being horrible and grey (like the mood) but it might blow some cobwebs away.

DH just messaged to say that he can arrange 'the man with a van' to pick up the sofa from a friend on Monday despite me telling him that she and her husband are both working now  .

Back laters with hopefully some positive actions.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Plodding along with the desk. Quite a few things filed but still a big mess. The study/library is the last part of downstairs that needs sorting so I am determined to get it done but just going to take some time.

BUT I have dealt with and put away today's post.

    More coffee needed
