Hopefully this works. Side by side comparison from your two images.

'After' has a bit of a green'ish hue to it, & most likely looks worse than the photo's can show.

Edit: Just realised there's a side by side on page 2! Definite difference, how disappointing (& expensive). Good luck with getting a good result eventually. Sadly their facebook page doesn't look promising, depending on which franchisee was used based on where you live, shame.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

I definitely need better pictures. Yeah it’s torn my heart out, saved up for so long to get it done, they don’t care that I’ll have to find the rest of the money to get it replaced myself and just have to live with it until then. Thank you for you’re kind words x

I would suggest waiting a little longer to see if it gets any worse.

Try to keep one area covered so that the contrast shows clearly.

Write to them now and state that you are unsatisfied with their response to your complaint and that you will be taking the matter further if nothing is done.

Keep a copy of this correspondence.

If nothing is done, consider taking the matter to the small claims court.

It reminds me of a blue cheese. I can understand why you're so upset.
  • To be fair the lighting looks totally different on those pictures which is significantly changing the apparent colours.
To me, the one on the left looks yellowy/off white with grey blue veins.
The one on the right looks much whiter with slightly grey/blue/green veins
To categorically prove the colour change you need to do as suggested above and cover a largish portion of it for some time to evidence any change or difference side by side in the same light.

To whom are you attempting to be fair?

Presumably not the OP, as you seem to be implying that he has taken photographs of an unchanged worktop, and by some happy (for him) accident, happened to find the lighting was such as to allow him to make a false case against the company concerned.

That doesn't seem very fair to me.

Their company name seems rather appropriate

I have told them it’s an unsatisfactory response, they think leaving me just over 2K short to fix it is “fair and reasonable”
I’ve kept every email, there’s been a lot in eight months! I’ve also still got the two samples they send me as replacements to “test” that also went green.
I will read up on the small claims court, thanks for the great advice.
