Cheese rinds are difficult. Some are edible, some aren't, not really, but it's sometimes difficult to tell which is which.

I haven't had any binnable waste this week.......only veg trimmings and melon skin and orange peel, and teabag used tea, and that's all gone on the compost.

I've got a BBE April small bag of s/r flour which, if I don't use soon, will probably have to go on the compost, but to be fair, it would be wasted food, as I should have used it.

I'm not really a baker, though. It was there for 'emergencies'!

I almost wasted half a plastic jar full of sliced peaches. I'd bought two jars for emergency use, but they really did need eating, but they weren't nice........no sweetness and almost no flavour and it was a chore eating them. So I was thinking of binning the last half jar, but couldn't be bothered to put the food waste bin out for just a few peach slices, so I forced them down! 😂

    Shan't buy those again!

The flour should be fine for a while yet.  Just look out for wriggly bits in it then it'll need binning!

Me too, I only buy plain flour and use baking powder rather than have two lots on the go.
