Yep squealing 🐸 are weird. We had one last year that would squeal at you every time you went near it. When it first happened I didn’t see the frog and thought I was hearing things. Totally freaked me out until I saw it was a frog. Although that freaked me out too.

CC tickover today. Not a bad month overall. I do find it interesting how things fluctuate from month to month... for example, last month our basic food/booze spending was £50 over budget, but this month we had a takeaway on top of basic spending and still came in bang on budget??
Anyway, my spreadsheet is all set up ready for the next CC month, and it looks tentatively like I may be able to do a sizeable TT into the OP account on October 1st. I'm reserving judgement on that though, until:
1, the finance DD is set up
2, payslip day
Speaking of the finance DD...... NEW FRONT DOOR DAY TOMORROW!!!it's only taken... *checks top of page* ...32 pages of diary!
I had another interview yesterday with a potential client. The potential clients from last weekend have booked, which is hugely reassuring in terms of my business actually being able to continue existing! I will likely hear a definite yes or no from this latest interview at the end of the week. I've almost finished the glut of online CPD I set for myself, and then I will be looking at attending a first aid course in person (socially distanced of course) in the town centre. I decided to do all the CPD partly because I needed to feel productive, and partly because at least some of it is going to be beneficial for my self-employed job, and partly because I'm considering another employment option which I hope will mesh quite well with my self-employment and allow me to do both. Vague paragraph is vague. It's not a fully formed idea yet, so we'll see.
Grocery shopping today, and I REALLY don't want to go... *sigh*Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Mary is MUCH better, thank you. She still has sizeable wounds on her back, and I've had to make her a jumpsuit out of an old tea towel to stop her from pecking them open repeatedly *eyeroll* but she is much perkier and chattier so I think the worst is behind us

Unfortunately, in yet ANOTHER case of things going awry at the last minute, the company are only fitting the new landing window tomorrow, as their supplier has apparently not actually finished making our door. It was supposed to arrive last week, then they sent someone for it this afternoon, and I got a phone call at 5pm saying "erm... really sorry, but..."
I'm rather fed up right now.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.
