Ohh, I forgot to mention I bought the first presents for the Big C-Word the other day too! Not sure if this makes me late (I was pretty much done by this point last year lol) or early (I have, in the past been doing it all in December).
Pilates this morning. Big Small is going for a haircut straight after.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Car and home insurance payments went out today (I transferred the money out of savings this morning) so that's all sorted for another year now.
Haircut went well and she likes the new length (literally had half her hair cut off so a big change).
Pilates was mostly fine but I've done something to my wrist which means I can't put any weight on it. The last 2 weeks I've been doing the exercises on hands and elbows instead of hands and knees and it isn't half weird doing exercises like that! It was just niggly pain at first but it's gotten worse the last few days. I've ordered one of those wrist splint things as an emergency measure, which is going to arrive tomorrow, but if it's still getting worse by Monday I'm going to the GP.
I have an interview with a potential client tomorrow, and another one next weekend! Cross fingers etc etc.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Not really got many things to add - this week is pretty quiet, money wise.
College first day went well, I think. Big Small got lost in a campus building, wasn't enrolled on a course she should have been, and then got lost again leaving the campus and trying to find where I was parked - all of which is pretty standard I reckon lol. A friend's mum (at a different college) got mistaken for a student and had to sit at the front of her class and talk about the good qualities a student should have! Thankfully said friend is pretty chill and wasn't embarrassed by this, but I would have been mortified if that had happened to me on my first day of college!!we had to emergency order a webcam too, which is arriving this afternoon. Amazon ftw! Money for that will come from the office pot.
Both chickens are still with us, although Mary is still looking questionable. We have made enquiries with our neighbour, whose son works at a local builder's merchants which is trade only, to see if he can get us some breeze blocks to sit the new coop on.
CPD is still continuing. Current course is on FGM, and I'm having to dip in and out because it's hard going. Breaking right now to make a brew, and this post! Pilates this evening, and the kids have their first newly-reopened dance class, which will involve them dancing by themselves in squares taped on the floor and not breathing too closely to their classmates lol.
5 days til the CC tickover, 1 week until the new door!Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Prolific is currently sitting at £4.98
and I thought £4.62 was bad ahaha. I've had a handful of quite juicy surveys the last few days and now have almost £8 pending, and a couple of them have future components that I will also be asked to complete, so that's nice.
Dance class seemed to go well - apparently they did a lot of jumping, and I ended up having to rub Small Small's Achilles tendon for a while as it was causing her a bit of grief. She went to bed making otter noises and cackling like a witch over a cauldron though, so I'm presuming that she's not gravely injured!Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

And yes, I'm finding they're picking up a bit now too.
Kids have all been complaining about achey legs today after their first dance class in six months last night lol. I've had them doing calf and thigh stretches and they've all been very impressed at how much it's helped.
