I have made myself feel better by buying two rare-ish houseplants on ebay. Obviously.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Is there a Panini houseplants sticker book I didn't know about?
They're not cheese or chocolate plants are they? 😀If it's not adding up, compound it!4 -

£70 on 2 pairs of kids shoes today
one for Medium Small and one for Small Small. Thankfully they were on sale, or it would have been £100!

- Had a bit of a lull on Prolific recently, but spent some time on the computer today and have managed to complete 4 surveys in quick succession.
- Money shuffle is complete, everything set for the CC to be paid beginning of next week.
- Paid for pilates classes for the next month - definitely feeling the benefit of doing them twice weekly now!
- Manwife's passport arrived this morning - he only posted the old one off on Tuesday so super speedy service! Mild heart attack though from the postie banging on the door before 9am lol.
- Made executive decision to change "stationery acc" to "office acc" which means it now covers stationery AND tech: computer parts, cables, phone cases, etc as well as paper, pens, envelopes etc. Was only this month I realised we didn't actually have a category for computer stuff. Next month I will change the SO, and I'll be putting a bit extra in on July 1st to cover the first thing that will be paid from there next month.
- Ordered some more gutta for silk painting as I ran out. I have enough silk to make 3 more 9inch hoops, and I already have the hoops to mount them on the walls, so no further purchases needed (assuming we can find the picture hooks to hang them up with!).
- Have paid the deposit for my next tattoo from the money I had saved. The artist did a live stream yesterday and was looking very despondent about the news that they can't open yet unlike many other businesses. The studio has a good community following so lots of us have been paying deposits and taking part in raffles for full days etc in order to help support the artists.
- Finally, I had an idea about the curtains in the living room. The curtains came with the house (5 years ago!) and we hate them (floral, beige, bleh) and the pole they're hanging on (it's in the window recess meaning the curtains knock the houseplants over. Also it's brass - ugh. Also, it's an L shaped window which means the short bit of window is constantly covered because the pole is L shaped with a corner bracket.) - but we weren't sure how we wanted to redo them, so we've been putting it off. I think we might replace them with one big long curtain (mutliple curtains stitched together) that pulls across from one side, and then put a little roller blind on the short section. That means we don't have to try to find a rail or pole that curves, AND it means there is more space on the end of the window ledge for plants. Rule 18: you can never have too many houseplantsRule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

I think a lot of us are finding Prolific quiet at the moment. I keep seeing them just as there's only one space left, and by the time I click the link it's full 😥
What colour is the new passport? Mine expires soon and I'm hoping for a blue one (not really for any other reason than I can crow to BF about it 😂!), but I know they had a stockpile of red ones still to get throughMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed
Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!2 -
Just popping in to say I've spent part of today reading your diary, and even though it was several pages ago I have to comment that yes, the fluffy chicken bums did look like owls!

Some of them on Prolific fill up so quickly. Like they'll be at 20+ spaces and then by the time I've clicked reserve it's full?! If it only has one space left I don't even bother clicking. Right after I clicked submit on my previous post I had another one pop up so yesterday was definitely a productive day as far as surveys are concerned! I'm currently on 94 submissions and itching to get to 100 LOLVintageHistorian said:Just popping in to say I've spent part of today reading your diary, and even though it was several pages ago I have to comment that yes, the fluffy chicken bums did look like owls!Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

coldcazzie said:Anyway, the money shuffle has been adjusted to account for this higher amount and I believe we'll be putting an extra £350 into the house savings account on July 1st, rather than the £200 I had originally planned, as well as a TT into the OP pot of ~£43.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Grocery shopping yesterday. Additional savings being put aside tomorrow, and will update my sig with the new OP pot total then too.
Total Spends
Aldi: £79.45
Morrisons: £24.45
plus an additional £10 on a new large vitreous enamel roasting tray - I really like the enamel stuff because it doesn't eventually disintegrate or have the coating flake off or go rusty etc. We have an enamel roasting dish with a lid which we got as a wedding present almost 15 years ago and it's still going strong and looks almost the same as when we got it.
It's our 15th wedding anniversary on Thursday. Needless to say, we're not doing owt! Seems a bit of a shame, but it is what it is. Next milestone is 20 years in 2025, and I reckon we'll have a party for that like we did for our 10th
Currently getting 0 eggs from the chickens and had to actually buy eggs yesterdayrude.
