Hope the snuffles are just that...
I really hope that this stupendous amount of money actually helps real people through this, rather than big business as it usually seems to do. 😠

@coldcazzie just delurking to say if you use Chrome there is a prolific extension that will tell you when there is a new study (it plays it through your speaker) you still miss a few but it does let you know (and sometimes scares the life out of you) https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/prolific-assistant/ocfncbnofopjedoepmekajbgdenadepp2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP1

). Thank you for temporarily leaving your lurkdom to tell me
I also use the chrome browser on my phone; wonder if it would work there too. I suspect not but worth checking.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Felt very anxious and down last night so tuned out with some sudoku and then went to bed.
Have woken up this morning snotting green, although not copious amounts. No extra snuffles from yesterday. Hard not to worry that this is the beginning of That Illness.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Thanks G, I'm going to have a day off from social media as best I can, as that is definitely contributing, and it's a fine line between being aware and being terrified!
I might get some paints out. Planning to put some hooks up later for some neglected hanging plants. Also have been meaning to play Catan as a family for several days so need to make time for that too. We might be separated from friends and extended family right now, but we're not alone.
Manwife™ is heading out for milk again, and is decking himself out in gloves and a snood. We are lucky that we are largely sorted for main meals until Wednesday, but we do still need to get a few fresh bits in if they can be found.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

• Hooks have gone up. Plants are now hanging, and high enough up that the cat won't try and swipe at them
• 4 eggs today.
• Duplo bundle has sold on ebay and.... the box I'd mentally earmarked to post it in is the wrong size. Ofc. Why isn't there an eyeroll emoji?
• Have ordered a silk painting kit from a friend who does workshops (which obviously can't run right now!). She is happy for me to owe her the money until next month when it will come out of the gift account. I will get enough supplies to do 4 big silk paintings and 2 small ones and I'll give them to friends and family as Christmas presents.
• Haven't been on socmed much today. Have tended my succulents, read, done some more sudoku, and I'm now watching some Elementary before I start cooking tea. Feeling less anxious and down, but not my usual level self.

• Watched Crimes of Grindlewald this afternoon with the troops. The purchase was The Manwife™'s contribution to the "we're going into seclusion" prep. That, some paper, and the 2 boardgames I bought (one second hand, one I shopped around for the cheapest price) have been pretty much the extent of our panic buying! We are playing either Catan or Evolution in a bit - the new games are being saved for now.
• Manwife™ asked me to cut his hair, so that's now done until early summer. [Been cutting his hair and Medium Small's (when he's in a hair cutting phase) with our own hair clippers for so long - well over a decade - that the idea of going elsewhere is totally bizarre. I don't even know how much we've saved over the years by me doing it because I've no idea how much a bloke's haircut would be nowadays?]
• Sore throat in the night, and was incredibly warm. Throat is fine this morning though, and I took my temp and it was normal. I suspect my uterus is to blame for me overheating, but I am keeping a close eye on myself. I also woke up randomly in the night and couldn't get back to sleep for a while, which is a classic anxiety response, so I'm giving myself a limited socmed schedule until I feel more balanced.
• Earned a whopping 8p 12p via QC
• Need to locate a box for this duplo, buy some shipping, and then transfer the remaining funds into the OP account.
• Someone posted in our local chicken group that one of her friends has had her girls stolen last nightpresumably a reaction to the "food shortage" that doesn't exist? Not sure if we still have a suitable padlock for the chicken shed but will check I think.
• Handful of clients messaged me to say thanks for their Mothers Day cards. I've told the client I was supposed to have started with at the beginning of the month that I'm going to give her her deposit back that she paid me - in the circumstances (combination of wider and personal) I don't feel like I can safely work with her in person, but I'm going to work with her online for free.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.
